I was Jeremy's PT for much of his growing up years. I received this from his mom: "Jeremy was born with special medical and developmental needs he has accessed PT, OT and SLP since birth. We didn’t know if he would ever be able to walk, but we started using a stander, then progressed to a walker, then a gait belt and when he went into Kindergarten he started to walk independently. When Jeremy had his spine surgery to correct his scoliosis he lost all mobility, his PT started working with him and within a month he regained all lost skills. When he had his second spine surgery which was much more detailed he lost all skills, he has never fully regained them but he has built some back and he’s farther than he would be without the PT services."
