Appreciation to the OSU-COM students and faculty making a difference, as well as to Cherokee Nation Health Services, the OSU Center for Health Systems Innovation, and all partners working together to improve health care in Oklahoma through lean methodology.

The OSU Center for Health Systems Innovation (CHSI) is equipping OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine students with the skills to address real-world problems in hospitals with the Lean Healthcare internship program.

The Best Medicine 2025: An Evening of Laughter & Impact

On October 3, we gathered at the Lorton Performance Center to harness the power of laughter in support of specialty care access for Tulsa’s uninsured and low-income residents.

Hosted by Project TCMS, The Best Medicine is more than a fundraiser — it’s our promise to ensure no patient is left behind because they can’t pay.

The evening featured Caroline Rhea and Dr. Joseph McBride, filling the room with humor, heart, and hope. Thanks to our generous sponsors, donors, and guests, we continue to expand access to care for those who need it most.

Impact to date:
* $11.7M in donated care
* 7,160 services provided
* 1,806 patients referred

Thank you to everyone who made this night unforgettable. Together, we’re proving that the best medicine truly is laughter.
