OU Health Physicians in Tulsa We Change Lives In the Tulsa area, 300 physicians and specialists provide clinical care at five OU Health Physicians clinics.

With nearly one million patient visits per year, OU Health Physicians provides healthcare with a depth and breadth of expertise that is unmatched in the region. Locations range from the Oklahoma Health Center in downtown Oklahoma City to 23 total clinics in the Oklahoma City area, Edmond and Midwest City. Most providers also serve as faculty of the OU College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, training the next generation of physicians.

Layer Up Like a Pro
Cold temps can be dangerous — especially with wind chills! Layer your clothes: base layer for warmth, mid for insulation, outer for wind/rain protection. Stay cozy and safe out there bundle up the right way:

🧥 Outer layer: wind + water resistant.
🧣 Middle layer: warm + insulating (fleece or down).
👕 Base layer: moisture-wicking (no cotton—try wool or synthetics).
🧤 Cover head, hands and neck—most heat escapes here!
💦Change wet layers ASAP to avoid hypothermia.

Winter Car Seat Safety:
Did you know that bulky clothing layers while in a car seat is unsafe? If the layers are too big they won't allow the seat belt to hold tight enough.
To help keep little ones warm while traveling this winter:
- Dress them in thin but warm layers.
- Preheat vehicles when you can.
- Once buckled in, you can put a blanket (or their coat on backwards) on top of the harness, if safe for your child.
- Don't forget about hats, socks, and mittens too!
