The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) released its 2022 Household Food Security in the United States report, and data shows that Oklahoma's food insecurity rate is higher than the national average.

Data also shows that the pandemic caused a spike in food insecurity, but it was quickly and effectively addressed with the implementation of additional resources.

Now nearly all of those resources have ended while inflation and housing costs are at record levels, resulting in the steepest increase in food insecurity in years.

The need for accessible & sustainable food resources is at an all-time in Oklahoma. The Community Storeroom can help alleviate the burden for Oklahomans experiencing food insecurity.🫶🥫📦

Our Community Storeroom team has been working to in preparation to open at the CREOKS Behavioral Health Services Tulsa West clinic. The Community Storeroom will soon offer a diverse range of free resources that will help alleviate the burden of food & resource insecurities that our clients may be experiencing.

We are all about supporting the communities we serve in any way we can, and yesterday we had the privilege of teaming up with our partners at Walmart Supercenter Catoosa to make an impact outside of the food & resource pantry. 🫶🏀

Together we delivered a basketball goal & basketball to a family in the Catoosa community. Not only will our new pal (pictured below) get to enjoy this basketball goal himself, but he plans to share it with several other children in his neighborhood community 🙌

Thank you Walmart Supercenter Catoosa for making this possible! 💙
