Our practice, Kidney Care of Oklahoma, was humbled to serve as a Gold Sponsor for this inspiring event. It was also a special moment for us as Dr. Kundi, Medical Director of the program, spoke on behalf of our team — expressing heartfelt gratitude to the donors, the transplant team, and reflecting on the life-changing impact kidney donation has on recipients and their families.

An amazing story about altruistic kidney donation at Ascension St John Kidney Transplant program in Tulsa.

Altruistic kidney donations are rare, representing just around 1% of total donations. Tulsan Mark Whitmire hopes others might follow his recent example and "act on that impulse."

For information about the Covid-19 vaccination please contact your local health department. We are encouraging all our patients to receive the Covid-19 vaccination when it is offered and available to you. Currently we only recommend either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. Administration of the Covid-19 vaccine is not currently provided at any of our offices. Stay safe and well.

Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 recent years experience needed for our Muskogee office. Successful applicant will be responsible for ordering patient labs and procedures, rooming patients, documenting into EHR, communicating with our physicians as well as other duties as required. Must have EHR scheduling and business machine experience. Excel and Word is a must.

This is a small office with 1/2 day clinics scheduled up to 3 days per week. Position is full time, Monday through Friday, but some flexibility may be available. Training will be in Tulsa plus periodically you may be required to work in the Tulsa office on a limited basis.

Telemedicine experience is a PLUS!

Candidate must have experience in EHR patient scheduling, handling a multi line phone system and have a basic knowledge of insurance and copays.

Other Duties Include:
Working w/documents in Word/Excel
Sorting & delivering faxes & mail
Scanning/Faxing
Organizing front office & waiting room

Insurance Pre-Authorizations, ICD10 & Coding Experience a PLUS!!
