Cura-HPC | Fruit of the Spirit – January: Love ❤️

January’s word was Love, and no one embodies that more beautifully than Mitzi Stone, our Volunteer Coordinator.

A volunteer coordinator connects people, time, and resources to meaningful service so they can truly make a difference. But it takes more than organization — it takes a precious heart that is always looking for ways to make someone else’s life better.

When Mitzi overheard a hospice patient share a simple wish — to hug a horse — she didn’t see an obstacle. She saw an opportunity. While others may have thought it was a long shot, Mitzi made a few calls and turned that heartfelt wish into a beautiful reality.

That is love in action.

Cura is so fortunate to have someone who not only coordinates volunteers but also brings together hope, compassion, and unforgettable moments when they matter most. 💛
