Like many of you, we have been monitoring the news and information regarding the Covid-19 virus. Our top priorities are, and always will be, our patients, family members and staff. Due to the nature of our business, closing our doors for any length of time is not a viable option. Our current plan is to run our business as usual without any disruptions in service to our patients and families. With that being said, we cannot predict if or when there will be any disruption from our suppliers and/or manufacturers, nor can we predict what supplies might be affected or to what extent. We are asking you, in this time of uncertainty, to be extremely mindful of your current situation and supplies. We are currently seeing shortages and outages of several items, to include some syringes, Kangaroo feeding bags, pulse oximetry sensors as well as some others. Please be cognizant of ways that you can extend the life of your supplies by washing and reusing those items that can be cleaned, such as syringes, suction canisters and tubing, nebulizer circuits, feeding bags, etc. This will allow you to extend the life of your current supply stock while still receiving your regular monthly supply shipments for as long as our supply chain can maintain stock. We pray that this will help you avoid any unforeseen disruptions and/or shortages with your disposable supplies.
Additionally, out of an abundance of caution, we will not be entering homes or seeking signatures for monthly deliveries. This is for your protection as much as it is for ours. We will notify you via text or phone when we are on our way to your home and again when your supply orders have been left on your porch, or wherever you have indicated a safe place for such to be left. We pray that this will be a very short lived situation, but we have no further information than what you have, and as such, are quite uncertain as to how long this scenario might last.
