Because childhood should be HANDS ON …

Last week our little ones learned about textures. We learned new words like: soft, hard, bumpy, smooth. They were able to compare textures, by feeling everyday items around them.

Toddlers learn best with their hands not worksheets. When little ones squish playdough, run their fingers through sand, splash in water, or feel the rough bark on a tree, they’re doing important brain work!

Texture play helps with:
🧠 Sensory development
✋ Fine motor skills
🗣 Language growth (soft, rough, squishy, bumpy!)
💛 Emotional regulation
🌎 Curiosity about the world around them

Let them feel. Let them get a little messy. They are exploring their world.

Painting is one of the most requested activities!

We use the Process Art method. We give very little instructions, and set out different types of supples. The kids are able to use their imagination and create something truly unique.

Process art helps children:
• Build fine motor skills
• Strengthen problem-solving
• Develop creativity
• Express emotions
• Build confidence
• Learn decision-making
