It's that time of year. Time to change the direction of your ceiling fans. In summer your fans should be spinning counterclockwise. This gives you a cool breeze and your A/C won't run as much to keep you cool. But now that colder air is here (or right around the corner), time to switch that little switch on the side of the fan so it rotates clockwise. This pushes that warmer air that rises to the ceiling back down so we can enjoy that warmer air.

Also a good time to make sure your HVAC filters are clean and if needed get your heater checked out. My friends at Alert Plumbing Heat and Air can help. Good folks who are professionals that you can trust. No job to big or small.

Quick Blast of Cold Coming! ❄️

That deep purple you see on the map? That’s a sharp punch of very cold air dropping into the central U.S. early next week. We’re talking a couple days of downright chilly weather — well below normal for this time of year.

But don’t worry — this isn’t the start of a long winter pattern. This is a quick hitter. After this brief cold snap, temperatures will rebound quickly and we’ll warm right back up.
