Have you visited the African American Resource Center at Rudisill Regional Library? The AARC preserves and provides access to resources documenting the history and culture of people of African descent!

The center is managed by Larissa McNeil, who plans and leads events for all ages at Tulsa City-County Library locations across the county. She is also an expert at utilizing the many resources available through the center, including ancestry and genealogy tools, a jukebox listening station, viewing stations with history videos and DVDs, and much more.

Join us in celebrating Judge Greg Bigler as our 2026 Circle of Honor Recipient! The award presenation for Judge Bigler will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Hardesty Regional Library.

Judge Greg Bigler is the author of several works, including “Rabbit Decolonizes the Forest: Stories From the Euchee Reservation” and the law review articles “Foundations of Tribal Society: Art, Dreams, and the Last Old Woman” and “Traditional Jurisprudence and Protection of Our Society: A Jurisgenerative Tail.” Bigler is a tribal judge and lawyer who exlusviely represents Native American tribes and is deeply involved in Euchee language revitalization.

On Tuesday, Jan. 27, the following locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
Central Library
Hardesty Regional Library
Martin Regional Library
Rudisill Regional Library
Zarrow Regional Library

All other TCCL locations will remain closed.
