Meet Beth Richmond, who teaches our Sunday afternoon Yin restorative yoga class.
She began practicing around 2000* and quickly learned something many of us forget, rest is a practice too.
This class is sometimes lovingly called “adult nap time.” Sleeping is not encouraged, but it does happen. More importantly, it creates space to slow down, soften, and reset. While many classes focus on building strength, Yin reminds us that learning how to rest is just as essential, if not more.
If your body and mind have been asking for a pause, this class is an invitation to practice exactly that.
