Connect & Restore is excited to launch Occupational Therapy services and is looking for a part-time Pediatric COTA to join our team!

✨ Start with 4–5 hours/week with opportunity to grow hours as desired
✨ Provide pediatric treatment sessions under supervising OTR
✨ Brand new OT space including gross motor gym, fine motor area, and sensory room — all new equipment!

We are looking for a therapist who values:
• DIRFloortime (trained or willing to train)
• Family-centered, play-based care
• Trauma-informed and neuro-affirming practice
• Sensory processing knowledge/experience

We often try really hard to TEACH our kids and though that can be effective at times playful interventions are hands down the most successful ways to enhance learning or processing of emotions. Narratives, like in a good story, are stored in different parts of the brain, a more experiential imaginative part! By selecting good stories that address important things, issues, emotions, and challenges our children can learn by hearing/reading much faster than traditional methods! This morning, we celebrated the power of play with pancakes and eggs in the break room, lovingly made by our very own staff chefs. 😉

Play therapy is not just about toys or games. It’s about connection, regulation, creativity, and creating safety through joy. Sometimes that looks like play in the therapy room… and sometimes it looks like breakfast together and a little laughter before the day begins.

🐾💛 Happy National Golden Retriever Day! 💛🐾

At Connect + Restore, our office is a little extra golden today because we are lucky enough to have three Golden Retrievers who help make this space feel safe, warm, and welcoming.

Ellie, Dexter, and Aslan 🐶✨
These three bring more than wagging tails and sweet smiles. They offer calm presence, unconditional connection, and gentle moments of regulation that words alone cannot always provide.

Whether it is a quiet sit nearby, a reassuring nuzzle, or a joyful hello, our goldens remind us daily that healing happens through connection and sometimes through fur and four paws.

Today we celebrate our golden helpers and the comfort, joy, and regulation they bring to our community. 💛🐾
