The Moon and Queen of Swords

Oh, holidays. For many of us, this can be a time of criticism, either from ourselves or others. Today, some of that criticism may actually be constructive and revealing. The Moon can get us in our feelings quite a bit, but it also reveals truths that have been held in the dark.

It can be easy to see these cards and have a bit of dread, but I suspect that this will be a bit different. Whatever secrets or old information that may be uncovered today are likely going to be our key to freedom from some old and limiting ideas. It may not be comfortable in the moment, but this could be a turning point for good.

In the meantime, I hope you know that you are loved and appreciated.

4 of Diamonds/Emperor and 7 of Clubs

I'm not gonna pretend we haven't been fighting hard to not see a lot of initial results. Cause it's been tough out here. But you know what? It's starting to pay off. We're noticing that our proverbial stack of supplies is a bit better off than before. Our energy is in a better place. We've toughened up and can handle so much more. And now we're realizing that we have a safer, more solid foundation for our efforts.

We're all shored up for our coming year, y'all. We got this.

Trust your inner wisdom

I just did a reading that had a similar message -- your spirit knows. It knows if someone is telling you the truth. It knows if you are on the best path for you. It knows how beautiful and wonderful you are. Listen to your spirit. Trust your inner truth. Your higher self won't lead you wrong.

Sounds a lot like Santa Claus, but with your whole life, not just a few holiday baubles.

9 of Spades with Ace of Spades

We've been seeing our world in new ways and well.. today it's a little overwhelming. How do we do this? CAN we do this? What on earth is driving us to do this and why can't we just stay where we're comfortable?

The place we were comfortable doesn't fit anymore and we have to do this. New things can be scary. That's a normal feeling. Be kind to yourself. Give yourself (and others) space to be a little off today. We've got a lot to digest.

This is temporary. This is necessary. We're going to come out of it. Hang tight.

On a completely different note, I'll be out at Edison Studios this Saturday for their art market.
I'll be doing $20 readings (cheap!!) and have some of my pottery and other crafts for sale. Come see! It's a really neat place.
