1- Not wearing SPF → We know you’ve heard this a million times, but UV rays breakdown collagen & elastin! Our big tip? Find one that you love wearing every day or replace your makeup with a beautiful tinted SPF.

2- Drinking out of a straw → This is a tough one! Constant puckering activates the same muscles over and over, leading to fine lines around the mouth or “barcode lines” as we call them.

3- Counting on one kind of treatment to solve a variety of concerns → Tox is great for fine lines caused by movement, but laxity and deeper wrinkles call for a layered treatment plan including lasers, biostimulators, and skincare.

4- Skipping the neck & chest → The skin on the neck & chest is thinner than the face, so make sure you’re not neglecting them when applying skincare & SPF and make sure to let us get those areas during treatments too!

Lucie’s Vision for Luminate

Hi all! My name is Erin Lucie and this is my story with Luminate!

Luminate is a spin off my married name Lucie, which is an Italian last name shorted from Luminati which means enlightened or to illuminate. I thought this was the perfect name for a clinic that would really help people shine!

I started aesthetic school 2000, and while I can not believe it has been almost 20 years, I have just as much passion today as I did back then. Combine that passion with the experience and expertise I have now and that is why I am so excited to open an anti-aging clinic here in Tulsa.

Eleanor Roosevelt said “Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, but Beautiful old people are works of Art.” This saying really struck a chord with me because my first bachelors degree was in art. I loved drawing faces, eyes, hands and bodies… the human body is the ultimate work of art. As a nurse practitioner I was able to focus more on the function of the human body and ways in which to optimize health and prevent diseases.
