This season, we’re focusing on relationships and orientation—how we make sense of where we are, what we’ve experienced, and where we’re going, especially when life takes unexpected turns.

In this episode, we meet Rory Robinson! Through Maggie's birth story, we explore what it means to lose your bearings in a moment that’s supposed to be joyful, and how re-orienting yourself after trauma is often a relational process, not a solo one.

This conversation sets the stage for the season ahead: honest, grounded, and centered on the ways connection helps us heal and move forward.

Listen now, and stay tuned for new episodes coming in the new year as we continue exploring relationships, orientation, and the stories that shape us.

Meet Ron Gentry, M.A., LPC, a therapist at GPS Therapies with over 25 years of experience walking alongside individuals, families, and men through life’s most meaningful and challenging seasons.

Ron brings a calm, practical, and hope-filled approach to counseling, supporting clients as they navigate transitions, relationships, stress, grief, faith questions, and questions of purpose and direction. He works well with teens, college students, adults, seniors, parents, clergy, healthcare professionals, and those who have felt hurt or disillusioned by institutions, church, or politics.
His work includes individual therapy, couples and premarital counseling (including Prepare/Enrich), vocational and career discernment, stress management, communication and conflict resolution, and support around depression, anxiety, anger, motivation, and life transitions. While Ron has a strong background in faith and spiritual formation, his primary focus is mental and emotional health, exploring spirituality only as clients desire.

Ron sees clients primarily in Broken Arrow, continues to offer sessions in midtown Tulsa, and provides telehealth across Oklahoma, making care accessible for those with busy schedules or travel needs.

Ron accepts a wide range of insurance plans, including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Medicare, United Healthcare/UBH, Optum, Humana, HealthChoice, Carelon, Anthem EAP, and private pay.

Meet Brianna Wilson, LPC-C, one of our therapists serving clients in the Tulsa office at GPS Therapies.

Brianna works with children, teens, adults, and seniors, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and everyday life stressors. She also enjoys helping clients strengthen self-esteem, establish healthy boundaries, and reconnect with a sense of meaning and control in their lives.
