It’s official! I have moved locations!!! I have closed my massage business out of Juergens Chiropractic and taken a job as an employee at Element Chiropractic and Massage.
There were many factors in me making this decision and I feel it is the perfect fit for life right now. I will miss the people and friends I made at Juergens Chiro, but I’m sure we will keep in touch.

Unfortunately, my regence credentialing has been messed up so I'm not getting paid. The new Chiro clinic will get me on their umbrella policy ASAP.

Here’s where you can find me and schedule:

Element Chiropractic and Massage
located at 1518 Bishop Rd S.W. #11. 360-923-5588

Please feel free to reach out to me here with any questions or concerns.

It's been a while.....I'm working still!!! Limited hours due to COVID, distance learning and just having lots of shifting because of these. But I have openings!!! I'm working Monday early to later afternoons, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings into early afternoon and some Fridays late morning to early afternoon.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy and sane!

Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that being back is going well. Gotten into the new groove. And now another hurdle with school. I'm not sure what that will look like and there's not a lot of forthcoming information yet from school. There's a lot for them to figure out and they are doing their best. It is what it is, and I'm doing my best to roll with it. Feel free to schedule for Sept, but know that I will probably have to do some shuffling along the way, with not a lot of notice. I appreciate your grace, patience and understanding as we all learn to navigate the new landscape COVID-19 has thrust upon us.

It’s a good clip on why masks are important right now and why/how they work. I know they’re not comfortable (try wearing one for 3+ hours while giving massages which is a physical job. I’m sweating by 5-10 minutes in), but I want all of us to be safe, stay healthy and live a long life. This is something we need to do for now, hopefully not forever.

Open Again!!!

Open Again!!!

07/03/2020

I’m excited to let you know I will be returning to work on Monday July 6, 2020! At this time, I’m only doing a few massages three to four days a week in the mornings to early afternoon. Hopefully, as I get into the swing of things and some restrictions get loosened, I’ll be able to add more hours. I’m so excited to get back into my new space and see all my patients again!

There will be some changes implemented due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. These new procedures will be in place until further notice . If there is a significant spike in cases, local hospitals get overwhelmed, or the governor implements a stay at home mandate again, I will close until it is safe to open again.

In the last four months I have stayed busy researching and implementing new procedures and am up to date on current best practices put out by The Center of Disease Control, World Health Organization, Thurston County and Department of Health and my professional association (AMTA) that also provides my liability insurance.
Here are the changes:

● If you had a fever, chills, or felt ill in the last 72 hours, please cancel your appointment. I will not charge a late cancellation fee at this time.

● Wait in your car or outside for me to wave you in. We are keeping as few people as possible in the clinic and waiting areas.

● You must wear a mask when you enter the building and during your massage. I wear personal protective equipment (PPE) deemed appropriate at this time (goggles, face shield, gown, and change of clothes). Bring a mask you feel comfortable wearing. I will have disposable ones if needed.

● Use our hand sanitizer or wash hands upon entering the building.

● Fill out new paperwork and expect your temperature taken with a no contact forehead thermometer. If your temperature is 100.4 degrees or higher, I will need to reschedule your appointment, and the cancellation fee will be waived.

● We will head back to my treatment room for a thorough intake and begin your massage.

● There will be designated spaces to put clothes, jewelry, shoes, and other personal items.

● After your appointment, get dressed, sanitize your hands, and come to the front desk in the lobby to pay and reschedule if you haven’t already done so.

For your safety and health, as well as my own and other patients, I continue to implement other hygiene considerations. I clean my treatment room after every patient. This includes, but is not limited to:

● Changing all sheets, blankets, and linens. I use sheets and blankets washed by a linen service that meet health care standards and wash other linens used in hot water with soap.

● Wiping down the massage table, legs of the massage table, pillow/bolster, face cradle, my stool, chair in the treatment room, place where clothes, jewelry and shoes are taken off/stored during your treatment, door handles, light switches, oil bottle, music device, and floors. High touch surfaces are cleaned with an EPA N-list approved cleaner with the required contact time to get disinfected.

● Wiping down major touchpoints in the bathroom when used by either of us.

● Changing my mask and apron or top after each session. These will also be washed in hot water with soap.

● Running a HEPA air filter in my room.

● Continuing to wash my hands before and after each treatment session and other times when necessary.
Thank you for your patience and understanding in these unprecedented times. I look forward to seeing you and helping get you feeling better. Call the office to schedule an appointment at (360) 943-4797

Hey! I’ll start working on July 6th. Scheduling opened up today. So far only Mon, Tues and Wed mornings. I may be able to work out other things as times goes on. There’s a lot of new protocols and I’m doing my best to keep myself and all my patients safe and healthy.

There are some other guidelines you should be aware of. I’ll send out a more detailed description sometime next week. But the gist of it is stay in your car until I wave to you to come in, mask for you and myself is mandatory, I will check your temperature up on coming into the clinic, then you can wash your hands and we can start.
I’m up to speed on new and improved cleaning and disinfecting procedures as well. It will feel a bit intense at first, but we will work together and make it through!

Hi Everyone! I miss seeing you all and working to help ease your pain. Thanks for your patience and understanding with everything that's constantly changing with the pandemic. At this time, I am still not open. I'm hoping to have every thing in order and feel safe and comfortable to start seeing people in July. That being said, some things will change with reopening. More to come on that as we get closer to opening. As always, if you have questions or concerns, please let me know and I will see how I can help. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Stay safe and stay healthy!

Hello everyone!!! I'm missing seeing all my clients and helping you feel better. Unfortunately, I will remain closed until at least the beginning of May, following the Governor’s latest press release which extended the stay at home and stay healthy order.

Although I am able to bill health insurance (and am very grateful for that), therefore classified as a healthcare provider in Washington, I consider massage therapy a non-essential healthcare service. My business is a touch based business and physically impossible to perform while yielding to the social distancing standards of 6ft. It is also so important to me to keep myself, family and my patients safe and healthy. I want to be back at work as soon as it is safe for us all.

Know that I miss you all and look forward to reopening as soon as I am able. Stay healthy and well!!!

As many of you know, I have been closed as of March 17th. I will continue to be closed until April 6th, following the Governor’s latest press release on Monday 3/24 where he issued a 2 week stay at home and stay healthy order. I have been taking this week by week, in hopes that things would pass quickly, but sadly that isn't the case. I am hopeful that April 6th will be my re-opening date.
