We’re excited to share the evolution of Sound Space Collective.

What began as a small, values-driven network is growing into something more intentional, a collaborative space centered on education, connection, and neurodiversity-affirming support.

Sound Space Collective brings together families, adults, and professionals who are navigating and supporting neurodivergence, with a focus on shared learning, meaningful collaboration, and accessible resources.

We’re so glad you’re here and invite you to explore what we’re building.

✨ We have a new name.

Sound Youth Neurodiversity Collective is evolving into Sound Space Collective.

Over the past few years, this community has grown beyond what we originally imagined. What began as a way to connect neurodiversity-affirming providers has become something bigger, a space where families, professionals, and community members come together to learn, share resources, and support neurodivergent individuals.

Our mission hasn’t changed.

We still believe in:
• Neurodiversity-affirming care
• Collaboration across disciplines
• Supporting families navigating complex systems
• Creating access to thoughtful, evidence-informed resources

What has changed is our vision.

Sound Space Collective reflects the kind of space we want to create, one that centers reflection, learning, connection, and community for those supporting neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan.

You’ll start to see new things emerging here, including:
• Educational resources for families and providers
• Community collaborations
• Workshops and learning opportunities
• A growing directory of neurodiversity-affirming professionals

Thank you for being part of this community as it grows.

When a child is struggling, the whole family feels it.

Sometimes it shows up as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, school stress, or tension at home. Other times it looks like disconnection between partners or feeling unsure how to support your child.

These experiences are more common than many families realize, and you don’t have to navigate them alone.

Alexis Roberson, LMFT offers therapy for children (8+), parents, couples, and families who are looking for thoughtful, relationship-centered support. Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in helping families better understand one another while rebuilding connection.

She is currently accepting a limited number of new clients.

If something in this post resonated with your family, this may be the right time to reach out.

You can learn more through the Sound Youth Neurodiversity Collective provider directory or contact Roberson Counseling directly.

Big feelings don’t need fixing, they need understanding.

Emotional intelligence isn’t something children are taught; it’s something they experience through everyday interactions.

When adults slow down, model regulation, and notice small successes, children build skills that support connection, resilience, and self-understanding over time.
