Apache Tears are small, rounded nodules of black, volcanic glass
(A Special type of Obsidian) formed when lava cools quickly, often found in the American Southwest, especially Arizona, and are named after a Native American legend about warriors' tears turning to stone. These stones are prized in jewelry and spirituality for their smooth texture and ability to absorb grief, offering comfort and emotional healing, and they appear opaque black but are translucent when held to light
Spiritual Use: Popular for protection, grounding, meditation, and bringing serenity during difficult times
Emotional Healing: Known as "the stone that heals sorrow," it's used to absorb grief, release negative emotions, and promote forgiveness
The Legend: A tragic 19th-century legend tells of Apache warriors jumping from a cliff to avoid capture; their mourning families' tears fell and formed these stones. I have had these Apache tears for many, many, years and I did a deep dive into my pile and dug these out. As you can see, these are very nice size Apache tears, the larger ones are hard to find on the market today and if you were lucky enough to find them, you would pay several dollars for each one. The ones you are looking at usually sell for one dollar to about five dollars depending on the size. I am selling them at a wholesale price by the pound, and you won't find them anywhere else for this price.
Do you own any currently ? If you do not, and you are looking for some, please call the Crystal Connection.
