Culinary Creations with Tracy and Jess from BackBurner Café was extra sweet this month! 🍪✨

Our residents rolled out sugar cookie dough, cut festive shapes, and rolled peanut butter blossoms into perfect little balls.

After the kitchen baked them, everyone had a blast decorating their creations.

A huge thank you to Tracy and Jess for guiding such a fun and festive session.

We loved using the cookies for our resident and staff Hot Chocolate Bar the very next day!

Tunkhannock Rehab & Health Care Center’s first Christmas Craft Fair was a wonderful success! 🎄✨

Residents enjoyed getting some Christmas shopping done, and the room was filled with so much joy.

Two vendors were even members of our own staff, which made the day feel even more special.

Another one of our vendors, Tiffany from Serenity Magnesium Sprays, shared that this was her first show and it felt like a “Santa’s workshop for the elderly”—a moment that truly warmed our hearts. ❤️

Each vendor donated a raffle basket, and we’ll be drawing names on Friday. Tickets are still available for purchase!

A huge thank you to our amazing staff for all their hard work in making this event such a success.

Sunday’s visit from Stage Door Dance Studio was something truly special. 🎄✨

Their Christmas performance was so well-planned and beautifully done, but what touched us most was how thoughtful and excited the girls were to talk with our residents afterward.

They even brought a gift box filled with Christmas goodies, word puzzle books, and a puzzle for everyone to enjoy.

We can’t wait to welcome them back - and we love that they’re close enough to walk right over!❤️

Hard work pays off! 🎉

Holly is going home to her kitties after giving her all in therapy. She said that choosing our facility felt right from the start, especially thanks to a comforting visit from Stacey, our wonderful Admissions Director, while still in the hospital.

Along the way she made a special bond with our dietary aide, Theron—who she called her buddy from day one. ❤️ She’s going to miss him!

Congratulations to you, Holly! We all will miss you here and wish you the best!
