A big day for Specialty Orthopedic Group and the Mississippi Delta!

Dr. Ryves Moore successfully performed our first surgery at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS—marking an exciting step forward in expanding access to high-quality orthopedic care.

This achievement further reinforces our commitment to delivering subspecialized, patient-centered care closer to home. We’re proud to now offer surgical services in the Mississippi Delta, with both Dr. Moore and Dr. Will Steward operating at Bolivar Medical Center.

Meet Pickles… Palmer’s class pet, part-time good boy, full-time troublemaker.

Yesterday, Pickles made a bold life decision to ignore all instructions, defy authority, and launch himself directly into a swimming pool!

Spoiler alert: Pickles cannot swim like he thought he could.

After his unauthorized cannonball, Palmer and his family rushed him to Specialty Orthopedic Group for some much-needed care. X-rays were taken, tails were tucked, and Pickles received approximately 1,000 hugs (doctor-prescribed, obviously).

GOOD NEWS: Pickles is officially on the mend!
He’s healed and ready to return to his very important job as class pet!

Welcome back, Pickles. Try to stay out of trouble… at least until recess.

"This was one of the most energetic and knowledgeable offices of people ever! From entry to exit! The nurse that took me in and asked questions was so chipper and interested in what you were saying beyond just getting answers! Every step was explained, and you, as the patient, had a voice! Now the techs that did the x-ray, man, it was top notch! The way they greeted you and explained and assisted you, it was so loving and patient and lots of laughs!!! The doctor I had was Dr. Phillip Sandifer! This dude came flying in the room, right up close, with a big smile and hand stretched out to shake mine, and the energy all in one package made me jump in total surprise, but excited!! He was very professional and yet personal at the same time. He truly listened and gave you a voice as he checked you out! He had no issue ordering tests to back up what his thoughts and feelings were. He also allowed me to have a voice in my care. It was so wonderful to feel heard and shown compassion. The ones who checked me out had beautiful smiles and explained my next steps. Right next to them was the PT scheduling young lady who had us laughing and got me set up.
