We are a faith-based, not-for-profit organization serving older adults of all faiths. Since 1962, we have been passionate about helping those in need.

The Sunday Fund exists for moments like this.

This year alone, the Sunday Fund will provide over $600,000 in critical support to elders living on MSS campuses across Mississippi—elders who have exhausted their financial resources and often have no family or safety net to lean on.

✨ Here’s where we are today:
• Amount needed by December 31: $600,000
• Amount raised as of December 18: $506,000
• Gap to close: $94,000

That gap represents real people—God’s older children needing our help.

A Magical Christmas Night on Broadway!
Residents, employees and family of Traceway Retirement Community and Methodist Senior Services gathered to enjoy the nighttime Christmas parade on Broadway. The evening was filled with lights, laughter, and love.
This season reminds us of the blessings of community, connection, and faith. Seeing our Traceway family enjoy the parade together was a meaningful reminder of the joy found in simply being with one another.
May this season bring hope, warmth, and memorable moments to all!

As of today, Loretta Wadlington has been a part of the MSS family for 40 years — making every day brighter and every team stronger. We couldn’t be more grateful for her years of dedicated service!

We had the chance to celebrate Loretta earlier this year as she was named Employee of the Year by LeadingAge Southeast. We are nearing the halfway point of her final year before retirement, and we are planning a celebration at a later date to send her off in style. However, we couldn't let this day slip by without pausing to thank Loretta publicly for her everything she does to make MSS great!

You haven’t just worked here for 40 years — you’ve shaped who we are. Thank you for making our mission your own.

The MSS Home Office Support Team performs a lot of very important work daily, but occasionally we pause to be silly, enjoy each other’s company, and have some fun!

Today our Culture In Action committee hosted a Halloween party complete with a haunted hallway, themed party foods and fun games!

The costume contest was a big hit and tons participated. Christie Vance (CEO) won as Raggedy Ann, but was followed closely my Merrin Cantin (VP for HR) with her roaring, dancing dinosaur. The team award went to Accounting as the glamorous M&Ms.

Everyone has returned to their work and we are doing those important things we do, but what a fun family to celebrate life with!
