When Dottie Hudson sat down with Jack York of the Talegate4Joy Project (in partnership with Dash Media and Senior Living Stories), she shared a simple, heartfelt memory about an orange corduroy dress.

None of us could have imagined what would happen next.

Since Senior Living Stories posted the clip on TikTok, Dottie’s story has been viewed nearly 25 million times and touching hearts across the country and around the world.

So, a few of our team members decided to surprise Dottie with a 2026 version of her iconic orange corduroy dress and to show her just how far her story has reached.

Her reaction says it all. 💛

All proceeds benefit the Meals on Wheels of Lee County program, which is currently serving nearly 160 homebound senior adults in our community.
