A Gap in the Medical Field
David and Storm Mackey purchased this clinic in July of 2018. They had always hoped to one day open a clinic so that they could provide care to patients based on actual needs rather than pushing charges (increased cost to patients). David and Storm were not looking to purchase a clinic when this opportunity arose and they certainly knew it was not for the faint of heart; however, they knew from years of experience that the local healthcare community had a major gap. Storm worked in an Urgent Care facility after graduating and it always bothered her that no matter how late they stayed open; it was never late enough. For years she saw patients get turned away and recognized that many people worked jobs that prevented them from getting to a clinic prior to closing. This clinic that they were not looking to buy was located one street away from the ER. The place that no one wants to end up but that people with sick kids and busy work schedules end up. David and Storm decided that this clinic could meet the needs of a community of hard-working individuals. Individuals that have children who get sick when it’s least convenient. Individuals that deserve the same healthcare choices as people with 9-5 jobs.
Thus the MIDNIGHT clinic was born.
