After having Lapiplasty procedure performed by Dr. Bruce Boyd, Anneliesa Bennett shared her testimony:
"In 2009, I sought advice from two different doctors regarding a bunion on my right foot. Their prognosis was disheartening, stating that surgery would eventually be necessary, resulting in an extended work absence. After prayerful consideration, I opted to delay the surgery and manage the condition. However, in 2021, I discovered a new surgical method called Lapiplasty 3D Bunion Correction, not yet available in my region. Concurrently, I increased my exercise routine to boost my physical and mental health, Regrettably, the intensified exercise caused more discomfort, calluses, and blisters on my right foot, leading to an injury in my left hip due to overcompensation. To address the underlying issue and prevent further harm, I needed to address the bunion on my right foot. Upon a colleague's recommendation, I consulted with Dr. Bruce K. Boyd at BMH Booneville, an expert in Lapiplasty 3D bunion correction. Following extensive research, I arranged for the surgery, which took place in September 2023. Dr. Boyd and the medical team at BMH Booneville provided exceptional care, guiding me through recovery and outlining a plan for resuming physical activities. Surprisingly, I was able to return to work on a limited basis just 3.5 weeks after the surgery. Despite some post-surgery adjustments, I gradually transitioned back to regular shoes within 6-8 weeks and increased my activity level over time. At 6.5 months post-surgery, I successfully completed a 5K race, followed by a 10K race at 7.5 months. I thank God and give him all the honor, glory and praise for placing Dr. Boyd and our surgical team at BMH Booneville in my path. The fact that I got to do all of this right here in my hometown and place of employment is a testament to our mission in the keeping the 3-fold ministry of Christ: preaching, teaching and healing."
