We are so proud to celebrate Carley Herndon and Marley Rumbarger on recently earning their CUNP certifications, a distinction that reflects advanced training, extensive urology experience, and a rigorous national exam. There are now 10 Certified Urologic Nurse Practitioners in the state of Mississippi — and 7 of them practice at Urologic.
Carley shared: “Being a Certified Urologic Nurse Practitioner represents my commitment to advanced, specialized care and to the patients who trust me during some of their most vulnerable moments.
Having an employer who recognizes the value of advanced practice nurses, fosters collaboration, and prioritizes growth makes this work even more rewarding. It reinforces why I chose this path and reminds me daily that I am part of a team.”
Marley shared: “Earning my CUNP certification was both a personal and professional milestone. Our team at Urologic has cultivated an atmosphere of truly patient-centered care, led by physicians who consistently set the standard for excellence. This certification has strengthened my confidence as a clinician and enhanced my ability to advocate effectively for my patients, enabling me to provide the highest quality care.
I am incredibly proud to be a part of a team that delivers not only the best urologic care in our community, but also across the state of Mississippi. I am deeply grateful for the education and mentorship I have received over the past four years which has equipped me to care for my patients with skill, experience, and compassion.”
