There’s a quiet conversation happening in your body… between your jaw and your pelvis.
Tension you’re holding in your jaw. The clenching, grinding, tightness often mirrors tension in your pelvic floor. These two areas are deeply connected through fascia, the nervous system, and our body’s natural patterns of holding and protection.
✨ When the jaw softens, the pelvic floor follows
Through intentional facial massage and buccal massage (intraoral work), we begin to:
• Release deeply stored tension and emotional holding
• Signal safety to the nervous system
• Improve circulation and lymphatic flow
• Invite the pelvic floor to soften, lengthen, and regulate
For many women, chronic jaw tension can be linked to:
– Pelvic pain or tightness
– Difficulty fully relaxing the pelvic floor
– Hormonal and stress-related imbalances
This is your reminder that healing doesn’t always start where the discomfort lives.
Sometimes… it begins with your jaw.
Softening your face
Unclenching your teeth
Letting go of what you’ve been holding
And allowing that release to ripple through your entire body 🤍

Did you know your brain has its own lymphatic-like detox system? 🧠✨
It’s called the Glymphatic System, and it plays a powerful role in clearing waste and maintaining fluid balance within the central nervous system.
Just like the lymphatic system supports detoxification throughout the body, the glymphatic system helps keep the brain’s internal environment clean, nourished, and functioning optimally.
How it works:
✨ Perivascular pathways
Channels surrounding blood vessels allow cerebrospinal fluid to move through brain tissue, flushing out metabolic waste.
✨ Meningeal lymphatic vessels
Located in the outer membrane of the brain, these vessels transport waste and immune cells from the brain to nearby lymph nodes for processing.
Why this matters for your health:
Your glymphatic system helps:
• Clear metabolic waste from the brain
• Remove proteins like amyloid-beta and tau linked to neurodegenerative disease
• Deliver nutrients to brain tissues
• Support immune surveillance within the nervous system
What impacts glymphatic function?
🌙 Sleep
Deep sleep is when this system becomes most active — your brain literally “cleans house” while you rest.
🌿 Aging
Efficiency of this system naturally declines over time, which is one reason supporting brain health becomes increasingly important.
⚡ Injury or illness
Traumatic brain injury, inflammation, or infections can impair glymphatic flow.
The takeaway:
Your body is constantly working to restore balance and clear what it no longer needs — even in the brain.
Prioritizing quality sleep, nervous system regulation, circulation, and overall lymphatic health supports the body’s natural ability to cleanse, repair, and restore.
Your body is brilliantly designed, give it the support it needs. ✨

"Who is She? She is your power, your Feminine source. Big Mama. The Goddess. The Great Mystery. The web-weaver. The life force. The first time, the twentieth time you may not recognize her. Or pretend not to hear. As she fills your body with ripples of terror and delight.
But when she calls you will know you’ve been called. Then it is up to you to decide if you will answer." ~ Lucy H. Pearce

It's true!! As massage therapists and body workers we will never get to truly experience our own work as a client on the table. Sad reality, but this is exactly why I pour my heart and soul into each session I give. Offering a customized approach, being fully present and letting my intuition guide me. I look at each session with the mindset of "what would I love most about this session if I was receiving this?!". I imagine myself receiving the work just as much as you the client are.
Who's with me on this one?
Sad for us, but yet allows us as the practitioner to tap in even deeper with our work. ✨

I get asked this question a lot.
How often should you receive Lymphatic Drainage?
The truth is… it depends 🤍
Your body is always communicating. Frequency is unique to you — your lifestyle, stress levels, hormones, age, and overall health all play a role.
Here’s a general guide:
✨ Overall Wellness + Maintenance
~ Every 4–6 weeks ~
Supports healthy immune circulation, nervous system regulation, and overall well-being. Think of this as consistent care to keep your body flowing with ease.
✨ Premenopause + Menopause
~ Every 2–3 weeks ~
Hormonal shifts can increase fluid retention, puffiness, and inflammation. Lymphatic Drainage supports movement, reduces stagnation, and gently nourishes your nervous system during this transition.
✨ Feeling Sluggish, Inflamed, or Puffy
~ Weekly for 4–6 weeks, then reassess ~
Consistency is key in the beginning. Regular sessions help decongest tissues, reduce inflammation, and re-energize your immune system so your body can return to balance.
✨ Post-Operative Care
~ Varies based on procedure + provider recommendations ~
Often the first session is within one week post-procedure (with medical clearance). Traditional Manual Lymphatic Drainage helps move excess fluid, decrease swelling, and support faster, smoother healing.
Note: I highly recommend if you know you are having a procedure done to communicate in advance with your provider regarding Lymphatic Drainage and to look for a trained therapist early on. Reaching out to a therapist prior to your procedure and scheduling your Post-Operative sessions will ensure you are being seen in the time frame you are needing. Sometimes you may even benefit from a lymphatic drainage session preoperatively to start moving stagnant fluid and boost your immune system before going under the knife.
🤍 Bottom Line:
An intentional, customized approach creates lasting results.
Your body deserves care that honors where you are right now.
Know that even incorporating some at home lymphatic drainage work is equally beneficial and can result in extending time between in studio sessions. This is why I created the app and have quick easy to follow tutorials on here. ✨

Some updates regarding my schedule and availability. ✨
Because we are all human and need to energetically fill our cups up, have this be your friendly reminder to listen to what you need as an individual.
Forever thankful and grateful for you all as I wouldn't be here without you! 🫶🏻
But here are the updates in a nutshell. 😘
I will now be in Monday through Thursday. With some occasional Fridays. If I'm working a Friday I will be off another day during the week.
I will also be only seeing three clients a day and no longer seeing four or five clients. This will allow me to keep my energy consistent and to make sure that you all receive the same level of care that you all deserve.
I will no longer be doing late afternoon or evening appointments and I will be out of the studio between 3:30 and 4:00. Family time is extremely important and as my daughter little and I will not get this time back. It is so important to me to be able to have this set family time.
Our lovely Lindsay will be back in the spring and I will be opening up her Saturday appointments soon. So be on the lookout for those dates to come.
Thank you again!

Abdominal massage is more than bodywork — it’s a return to ourselves. 🐦🔥
Our abdomen is home to our vital organs. Digestion, reproduction, detoxification, and emotional processing all live here. Yet for many women, this area is often held tight, ignored, or disconnected from.
✨ Benefits of abdominal massage:
• Supports healthy digestion and gut motility
• Encourages circulation to the uterus, ovaries, and digestive organs
• Aids the liver and intestines in natural detox pathways
• Helps release stored tension, emotion, and trauma held in the belly
• Promotes hormonal balance and womb awareness
💧 Lymphatic connection:
The abdomen houses one of the largest concentrations of lymph vessels in the body. Gentle, intentional abdominal work helps:
• Move stagnant lymph
• Reduce bloating and inflammation
• Support immune health
• Encourage the body’s natural drainage and cleansing systems
🤍 For women, this work is deeply restorative. Abdominal massage invites us to soften, to trust, and to reconnect with the space where intuition, creativity, and life itself are nurtured. When we slow down and listen to our bodies, we reclaim ownership of our health — not through force, but through care.
This is about falling back into our feminine. Honoring our cycles. Releasing what no longer serves. And remembering that our bodies are wise.
Your belly is not something to “fix” — it is something to tend to. 🫶🏻

🕸️ Fascia is a layer of connective tissue that envelops muscles, organs, and other internal structures. It plays a key role in the lymphatic system. The fascia separates the superficial and deep lymphatic systems and contains vessels that link these two systems.
This is why it's so important to support our fascia when working the lymphatic system. 🌊
