Tonight's the night for another edition of the MINDFULNESS POWER HOUR!!! We got live in less than an hour at 8pm on YouTube and Tiktok!

This live stream focused on mental health is for anyone and everyone out there who is feeling burnt aht, who is struggling with how lifey life is and how peoplely people are! This live stream is for anyone interested in learning more about mental health and all sorts of different coping skills! Tonight's a special episode as we will pay tribute to the late great Todd Snider!

I've been telling myself I need to get better at self promotion so people can find what I am offering to the world, and I was dead set on getting started this week... then Friday happened, which turned into a tragic Saturday. But the show must go on! So, I am still planning on doing my MINDFULNESS POWER HOUR live stream this Thursday but we will have a special episode of wellness as we focus on grieving the loss of America's best folk storyteller. Come get your grieving on with me this Thursday!

One of the challenges of changes to self care routine is that the results are not always instantaneous. It can time, LOTS of time, to see the results we are seeking. Today I got to experience the fruits of my labor in real time and it was VERY nice! From me to yinz, please remember self care is a choice and I hope it’s a choice yinz make today!

It’s Veterans Day, a day that honors the human beings who have served in our military and sacrificed so much to defend our freedoms. There has been much blood shed and many deaths throughout America’s history. I hope today yinz reflect upon what it has taken for America to exist and honor those who have served!

One way we can honor our veterans is by making sure they have the most advanced, wide spread and consistent healthcare. We can work to make sure they have all the mental health services they could ask for and then some!

It is really important to remember our Veterans today. It is also important to remember them the other 364 days in the year too.

Take a slow breath in through your nose…
and gently let it out through your mouth.

Notice what’s happening in your body right now —
the rise and fall of your chest,
the contact of your feet on the floor,
the support beneath you.

There’s no need to fix or change anything -- Just notice.

If your thoughts drift, that’s okay. Simply guide your attention back to your breath — steady, reliable, here.

You might quietly remind yourself:
I’m safe in this moment. I can slow down. I’m allowed to rest.

Let your next exhale be a release —
of tension, of pressure, of whatever you’ve been holding.

You’ve given yourself one full minute to reset.
And that’s something your mind and body truly needed.
