The Program in Counselor Education is committed to offering a quality program of teaching, research, and service for students enrolled in the program and ultimately for the benefit of the clients/individuals they serve. With a strong belief in the human dignity of the individual, program faculty in Counselor Education seek to offer students the opportunity to grow and develop to their fullest potential and to promote this attitude as the basis for their service to clients. Our program is one of four programs that make up the Department of Educational Studies in Psychology, Research Methodology, and Counseling. The graduate degrees in Counselor Education are: (a) Masters of Arts degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, and School Counseling, and (b) the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counselor Education and Supervision.
