Thanks to the donations and support from ADPH employees, the Office of Community Affairs was able to donate over 450 items to the residents of Magnolia Haven Nursing Home in Macon County during this winter season. Items included blankets, socks, hats, gloves, scarves, and jackets/wraps. We will continue our efforts to support Alabama communities in the new year. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

During Operation Winter Shield on Friday, December 19, 150 Macon County residents aged 65 and older will be able to receive a free space heater, sponsored by the partners of the Office of Community Affairs. To receive this free heater, it is REQUIRED to turn in the registration form and attend an informational session during the event at 11:00-11:30 am or 1:00-1:30 pm at 207 Main St., Tuskegee, AL 36083.
