About our newest clinician, Catherine Kim:
I strive to create a safe, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental space where clients can slow down and feel genuinely seen. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative relationship, one where curiosity, reflection, and trust allow meaningful change to unfold at a natural pace.
My work is grounded in a relational psychodynamic perspective, guided by the belief that we are shaped through our relationships. Our early and ongoing relational experiences influence how we understand ourselves, connect with others, and move through the world. By gently exploring these patterns together, clients can gain insight, develop self-compassion, and experience greater emotional freedom and authenticity.
I have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relational wounds, and self-harm. I aim to understand each client as a whole person within their emotional, relational, and cultural context, and I place strong importance on building a trusting therapeutic relationship.
