Dear Friends and Family of Crane Massage Therapy,
As many of you know, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is running its course throughout the world, and it has come home to our state of California. As of last night, the governor of our state and the Director of the Department of Public Health have ordered that all individuals living in the State of California are to stay home or at their place of residence. Essential services will remain open such as:
• Gas stations
• Pharmacies
• Food: Grocery stores, farmers markets, food banks, convenience stores, take-out and delivery restaurants
• Banks
• Laundromats/laundry services
• Essential state and local government functions will also remain open, including law enforcement and offices that provide government programs and services.
Unfortunately, that means that I, too, have to stay home. So, even though I am healthy, and I believe that you would allow me to work with you if you are also healthy, for the time being I am going to close. It breaks my heart to say that, but I think that for the best interests of everyone’s health and safety, it is the best option. And while we may know how essential massage is for health and wellbeing, the state and county disagree with me being considered an “essential service,” so I have to close for now according to the governor’s order.
Many are speculating that within a month’s time we can start to resume some sort of normalcy again. For the sake of the worldwide economy, I am praying that we can all bounce back healthier and stronger than before. Please know that as soon as I am able to be in the office again, I’ll be sure to let you know. I am recording all the appointments that were already scheduled for the next 30 days and will be reaching out to those people first. Also, I will also be temporarily stopping all payments of the Release the Pain Plan clients.
But I’ll be increasing my prayers all the more. If there is anything in particular that you need me to pray about, please don’t hesitate to reach out and let me know. You are all in my thoughts and prayers; please know that.
Please keep stretching the areas that need work, using YouTube videos if you need to, and let me know if I can help in any way. Take this time to reconnect with those in your household physically and your other friends and family virtually. We are “social distancing” right now, but not “social isolating.”
Stay healthy, and I hope to see many of you soon!
Take care,
Faye Crane
