When to ? Before or after?

Activity specific warm-up may improve sprint performance.

Static stretching was more effective than dynamic stretching for increasing static range of motion.

There was no effect of the warm-up protocols on countermovement jump height or movement time.

Extrapolate that sh*t.if you want to achieve a deeper squat without back pain or squat without a wink improving your adductor flexibility and hamstring flexibility can help you to achieve that.

Rule of thumb is to do dynamic warm ups before activity and wtatic stretches after activity.

Stretching is important across all sports but not ideal for most injuries.

Hip , why is it important for performance and injury prevention?

When you have good mobility in the hips, for example, having the ability to flex the hip with a straight leg past 100 degrees, eliminates strain on the lower back. When I talk about hip mobility I always reference kids under the age of 4. They are able to sit in the position, get into a deep with a straight back etc.

Essentially it is distribution of forces and strain over multiple areas when you do exercixes vs having poor mobility which creates a sticking point that focalises kinetic energy into one area.

To counter that point, good hip mobility encourages greater muscle recruitment to increase efficency of muscle groups and energy output and stabilizing joints ad body parts, thereby preventing injuries in the process.

On the street they know hazards exist from other drivers. We can help rehab you, but we can't help prevent accidents that occur on the road.

Let's be clear. Having Tommy John surgery before, during or after an ulnar collateral ligament tear will not turn you into the next Justin Verlander. You will not wake up from the procedure with a major league fastball and become a lock for Rookie of the Year.

*velocity isnt everything
*limit total pitch count
*dont throw breaking balls too early
*throw other types of balls

Stretch and strengthen to keep the joint loose but stable. Ultimately it is going to happen. Ive seen countless cases where they were doing graston and stretching and had great technique later in their career. Technique early is going to get you precise and speed can come later. Kris Bryant

Irene Schouten dutch olympic speed skater. She has seen her fair share of spills on the ice. The knee, ankle, spine, leg, and groin were the most commonly reported sites of injury. Skaters were also asked to list previous on-ice injuries. The two most common injuries occurring on-ice before the 1999-2000 season were lacerations from the knee down (11.1%) and ankle fractures (10.2%).

Lets talk getting in a

Lets say you get in a and you suffer . Now you need to go thru . But will you get sent to the right doctors? Having the right can mean a huge difference. The right lawyer will get you compensated if the policy on your car i good, or if you suffer the injuries aboveand beyond the policy to file suit.

Whiplash is not a huge case driver by any means. Hopefully the lawyers will send you to the right doctors who can no. 1 get you better thru rehab and recovery aids. No. 2 refer you to get an mri to make sure you have a thorough check up. No. 3 if you have a disc bulge or anything more serious, can that doctor send you to the right specialists to ensure there is other comanagement.

If a lawyer is dictating that you need to go to different doctors and isnt letting the chiropractor or md dictate your care, that can be fishy, more importantly unethical. Lawyers and doctors need to trust each other. Open communication is important.

The only difference between a car accident and a sports injury, is about 2 tons of metal
