My name is Diana Chaparro- Clark and I am a Licensed Psychotherapist excited to do what I have always felt called to do. I am passionate about the idea and power of hope, hope for things to be better in our lives no matter how difficult they may seem. I have experience in helping children, adolescents, and families in crisis. Additionally I have worked with people challenged with: anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management issues, and grief. I also have a history of experience with families with parenting issues with difficult children. Additionally I love working with blended families ( both pre and post marriage) to work to reduce the stress that the challenges this unique family structure brings.Counseling is also an opportunity for individual persons to use therapy for self-reflection and self-growth when you feel stuck in your life and/or relationships. It is an honor to be a witness of how a life can change if the person is willing to do the work! I absolutely love working with clients have better relationships with themselves and the people around them. Feeling pain in itself is healthy although it is uncomfortable. Most addictions and unhealthy habits come from the avoidance of pain. If you trust yourself to feel it you will also be able to enjoy the converse which is happiness and contentment.
