VALENTINE'S DELIVERY 🙌 People often ask if we deliver... well the answer is finally YES for Valentine's Day (Within 10 miles of our two locations). I am offering Valentine's Flowers again this year for pickup and delivery at Cedar Springs Pharmacy Tuttle and for the first time at Westbury Express Pharmacy OKC!

I am excited to offer a prebook option for those of you who like to plan ahead! I have been carefully planning and ordering blooms and trying to predict what the demand may be. If you know you'd like to purchase flowers that week, this is the best way to ensure I have them for you.

I have three options available on this website and will have a few smaller wrapped bouquets available as grab and go options as supplies last during Feb 12-14.

Simple Acre Flowers will not restock flowers again this week in preparation for the weather. Please be sure to pick up your prescriptions asap in the event we close due to weather.

Our first winter with a high tunnel was a doozy. I remember one particularly frigid and windy storm was threatening to pull down the plastic cover that was keeping my precious plants alive. As the determined new flower grower that I was (read I had to prove my husband wrong) I geared up in my finest Oklahoma gear🥶 and gathered every sand bag I could find to throw onto the loose, flapping ends resembling a tootsie roll wrapper. It quickly turned into me tripping, falling and flailing around a pile of thundering plastic as everything went numb. My life flashed before my eyes as I debated if I should choose stump hands or teeth to tear the plastic and prevent suffocation by failed flower hoophouse. I quickly realized how ridiculous I was to try to control this disaster. And to be honest I don’t even remember if the flowers survived. But I did learn a valuable lesson. Or two.

I’m sure fellow gardeners and farmers can relate, but the impending doom of ice destroying my plants has been creeping in all week. But this morning I was greeted with a sweet reminder of who is truly in control. A beautiful cardinal had managed to get in a small crack in my hoophouse and was waiting for me. We were both super relieved when he was no longer flitting above my head (I kid you not, I was talking about the movie The Birds an hour before), but I still took a moment to enjoy a little God hug after grabbing a quick photo - of course. If God provides for the birds, he can surely provide for me. Anxiety you are not welcome here.

What I really got on to post was a quick note, I will not restock flowers again this week at the pharmacy as I prepare the things I can control ahead of the weather. Stay safe!
