Real Talk.....
You may not have seen our owner, Joel, as much lately, but that doesn't mean he isn't working for you. Did you know that PBMs, essentially a middleman in the world of pharmaceuticals, set the prices. Often we are reimbursed LESS than the acquisition cost of the drug. As you would guess, this is resulting in the closure of locally owned pharmacies. Joel and other independent pharmacies are working relentlessly to make sure drugs are both affordable for you, while staying in business when the corporate players make it difficult. Our mission is to serve this community, and we believe wholeheartedly that mom and pop pharmacies are important in communities across Oklahoma and that we can provide a level of service and compassion that is unique and necessary. So please know, that while you may not see him behind the counter every day, he is working hard for you at the capital, in conversations with the attorney general and in constant communication with insurance companies to allow us to provide top notch care. We went into this business because we genuinely care about people and want you to live life to the fullest.
We've said it before and we will say is again and again. Thank you for choosing us for your health care needs. Whether it's prescriptions, compounds, over the counter supplements, or gift items every single purchase you make is meaningful.
