Two calls in one week - Man, I love my job!!
A client called yesterday and said Dr. Myran of Countryside Equine Medicine examined one of her horses and while doing so, he began to inspect my farrier work. She said he was very complimentary and went on to say he would highly recommended me and advised her to "stick with me"... needless to say, I was very appreciative and it sure made me feel good. So thankful for her call and for another vet's support and reinforcement.

The pics below show why it is so important to have correct, balanced, healthy shoeing and trimming. The hoof has so many components and it is the foundation for everything above it. =healthyhorse

Calls like the one I got this weekend make my job even more worth while!!
One of my newer clients called to let me know that her mare is more sound than she's been in quiet a while...and not only was she finally sound enough to compete on again - she ran the fastest time she's ever run and won 3rd in the 1d!
So thankful for happy customers & happy horses!

Hey everyone! Apparently salt water and an iPhone do not mix. My phone got wet Sunday (first day of vacation) and I have not had any way to check my messages, calls, or texts since. Got to Thank Dr. Carter from Southern Equine Service for the compliments on my work yesterday (during an exam on one of our clients). Very thankful for the pat-on-the-back from such a well known and knowledgable veterinary!
Also grateful to be able to help this mare find comfort with pour-in support and get her back to competing.
