As many of you know already, I will be closing my doors for good on January 27th of this month.

I will be moving to Las Vegas for a new job.

I know I like to wax poetic at moments like this but I will just say this.

Thank you, to each and everyone of you who supported me, who believed in my dream, and who helped me grow over the course of the last four years.

I haven’t forgot and won’t forget who made all this possible.

I still have a couple weeks left in office for goodbyes but if I don’t see you then good bye and good luck in life!

Who has recovered from Halloween yet?

We are still trying to get up the motivation to take down all our decor.

If you find yourself in a similar situation, you might find yourself needing a tuneup afterwards!

We do have openings today and tomorrow!

Now that Halloween is past us, what are some of your favorite fall activities?

My poor daughter…this is our first year being in a house during the fall and she is (or was it’s hard to tell now) beyond excited to rake the leaves up in the backyard because she can’t wait to jump in a pile of leaves.

We will see how long that excitement lasts once the raking begins!

Time…

This year is two months away from being completed.

I should probably check on those New Years resolutions…

Also, one year ago today is the day when I moved into this new office.

At times it has felt like a month and other times it has felt like I’ve been here forever.

Thank you everyone for helping me get to this milestone!

Here’s to another year and more!

Have a fun and safe Halloween this year!

And now I present to you, our last and final monster!

The witch.

These ladies…have you seen how they ride on broom sticks?

It’s not very ergonomic, especially on their upper back which is all hunched over while they have to hold their heads up to see where they are flying.

Add in all the cackling that they do and I would not be surprised if they have thrown a rib out, or have gotten their upper backs out of alignment.

I don’t know if you have ever had a rib out, but it really can feel like a monster.

Pain with every breath, sharp pain with coughing, sneezing, or cackling.

Fortunately this is one of those easy fixes.

Usually a quick adjustment will fix that rib and upper back pain right up.

This holiday season don’t let this monster ruin your fun.

And wether you are celebrating Halloween this Saturday or this Sunday, I hope you have a happy and safe Halloween!

I’m going back to my Harry Potter knowledge and any other movie with werewolves on this one (looking at you underworld series).

Monster #5: werewolves!

If you’ve seen any of these movies…I don’t know how these guys and gals function.

When they transform they usually thrash about on the ground until the transformation is complete.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know some movies like Twilight (I hate that I can say I’ve seen those movies), makes the transition seem seamless. But still I can’t imagine that transforming into a giant quadraped animal and back is a good thing for your physiologically speaking.

I imagine they might have some lingering pains, or pains that hang around for a very long time.

I’m talking about chronic pain.

I am so grateful I don’t have any chronic pains. This truly is a monster for my patients who suffer from chronic aches and pains.

Day in and day out of never ending pain…

Just like yesterday, I can’t sit here and say that I have all the answers for chronic pain.

But usually my chronic pain patients leave with some relief and even if it lasts for a day or two, it makes a huge difference in their lives.

With time, these pains can clear up completely.

If you need a break from this monster this holiday season…you know where to find me!

I was looking for a clever mummy joke but nothing seemed to fit.

So with that terrible intro…..

Monster number 4! Mummies

The life of a mummy would be miserable.

I mean have you ever thought about that?

Ancient Egypt was nearly 2000 years ago.

Can you imagine being trapped inside a coffin for two thousand YEARS?

And then when they are released from their sarcophagi, their time back in the living only lasts for days at most. Like what a waste of 2000 years!

Anyway sometimes we become part mummy.

No not trapped in a sarcophagus for 2000 years.

Rather we wrap ourselves in tape, and sports tape, and bandages.

Usually when we sprain or strain something.

Now, I’m not going to sit here and tell you that I can fix this monster in one visit, or two visits.

Actually this monster will usually take 6-8 weeks before it goes away.

However, we can lessen the intensity of the pain. We can increase the functionality of the affected muscles and ligaments.

So if you want to shed your inner mummy a little quicker, you know where to find me.

Were you spooked to not see any posts these past few days?

I’ve got monsters of my own and one of them is called laziness!

It’s true, I didn’t make any posts on my day off :-(

But we are back at it this week with monster number 3!

And it’s all about the zombies 🧟‍♀️🧟🧟‍♂️

Zombies have kind of been having a renaissance in the past decade and a half or so.

I’ve seen movies where they can run fast, and appear to not be almost intelligent.

I don’t know, when I was younger zombies were this mindless creature aimlessly wandering around until it happened upon a prey whose brain it could eat.

I don’t know about you, but when I have a headache I can feel like a zombie.

Aimlessly wandering around until it is gone.

Or maybe hiding in a dark room with no noise until it’s gone.

Nothing meaningful gets done because it is so hard to think or concentrate on anything else.

Can anyone else relate?

I know there are some of you out there who can.

It’s miserable.

However, you don’t have to be a zombie this holiday season.

Usually an adjustment to the top vertebra and some soft tissue work on the suboccipital muscles and you’re good to go.

And fortunately for you I happen to know a great zombie slayer!

*Yes I’m very humble*

It’s me!

There’s no need to be a zombie, and no need to let your friends be zombies either when we can take care of those monsters.

You know where to find me!

The scary has returned! 💀💀🎃

And who is a more iconic monster than Frankenstein?

Ya know, poor Frankenstein…he didn’t have any input into the design of his body and it shows.

I mean have you seen the way he walks?

He walks like he has a stick up his behind. It looks painful.

The man can barely bend his knees.

Maybe you have seen a Frankenstein in real life.

You know who I’m talking about, you see the person walking with a stiff leg or a limp, or they have their hands pressed to the back of their backs trying to get some relief.

Maybe you’ve been a Frankenstein yourself.

However, unlike Frankenstein you have the ability to get fix that problem.

How?

Because you can get fixed!

A little adjustment, muscle work and some home stretches and you’ll be well on your way to getting rid of the monster.

This year…don’t let this monster ruin your holidays.

You know where to find me!
