Due to the influx of new followers I thought , It may be time to reintroduce myself and share a bit of background for new incoming clients—and for those who may want to know more about me.
Hi, I’m Katie the owner and licensed massage therapist behind Mush Kneaded Massage 🤍
A name inspired by a love for nature, mycology, and the healing complexity of mushrooms—paired with a little quirk and a good pun.
I’ve been practicing massage therapy for 1.5 years. I graduated from the Infinity School of Massage in Wendell, Idaho in April 2024, became licensed in May, and proudly opened Mush Kneaded Massage in June. When starting my business, I found the perfect home for my practice at Kalypso Beauty Bar in Twin Falls.
My passion lies in aiding the body’s natural healing process while offering comfort, compassion, and space for empathy. I believe the most effective massage is a thoughtful blend of therapeutic work and deep relaxation—helping knead away life’s problems, one knot at a time.
I’ll be the first to admit I’m a bit stubborn when it comes to relieving muscle tension. My approach is intentional and results-driven, focusing on techniques such as deep tissue therapy, facial release, trigger point work, and PNF stretching, while incorporating Swedish techniques to create a balanced and cohesive session. Every massage is personalized to each client’s needs, goals, and ideal pressure perception—because no two bodies (or days) are the same.
I approach every session with humility and intention, viewing each client as a new learning opportunity and every treatment as a chance to grow. As a solo business owner, I’m continuously learning—both in my craft and in building a business rooted in care and integrity.
Outside the studio, I’m a mom to two amazing children who keep me motivated and grounded. Life is often busy and beautifully chaotic, and in my free time you’ll find me adventuring outdoors, hiking, or dancing the stress away at concerts.
Thank you for being here—I look forward to holding space for your healing.
