As a Twin Falls physician, he is committed to improving care within our local community while providing compassionate, supportive care to patients and families. His focus is on comfort, dignity, and thoughtful end of life care, helping ensure each patient is treated with respect and kindness. Dr. Muretisch works closely with our care team to support excellent, patient centered hospice services and to help strengthen the quality of care available to families throughout our community.

🌿 What Is Hospice Care — and Who Qualifies? 🌿

Hospice is not about giving up.
It’s about comfort, dignity, and support when it matters most.

Hospice care focuses on helping patients live as fully and comfortably as possible — surrounded by care, compassion, and peace.

✨ Someone may qualify for hospice if they:
• Have a serious or life-limiting illness
• Have frequent hospitalizations or ER visits
• Are experiencing increased pain, fatigue, or shortness of breath
• Have declining strength, weight loss, or difficulty with daily activities
• Are no longer benefiting from—or choosing to stop—curative treatments

🩺 A physician typically certifies hospice when life expectancy is six months or less if the illness follows its natural course — but hospice can be renewed as long as eligibility continues.
