It’s I Love Books Month and we need to talk about the library.
So many moms tell me they want to go…
But it feels overwhelming.
“What if my toddler melts down?”
“What if we pick the wrong books?”
“What if we can’t keep up?”
Here’s the truth:
You don’t need to do it perfectly.
You just need to start.
Start with 5 books.
Let them pick 2.
Go the same day each week.
Stay 10 minutes if that’s all you get.
That’s enough.
Reading together builds vocabulary, attention, emotional regulation, and confidence.
But even more than that?
It builds connection.
And that’s what our kids need most. 🤍
If you already use the library, tell us your best tip below!
If you’ve been nervous to go — this is your sign to try this week. 📚✨
