We were grateful to welcome Natalie Zeleznikar to The Waterview Shores last week.

Rep. Zeleznikar spent time connecting with our residents and team members, sharing insights on nursing home and assisted living funding and taking the time to answer thoughtful questions from those who live and work here every day. We’re honored to share that The Waterview Shores was named 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 – 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 at last week’s Lake Chamber Gala!

This recognition means so much to our entire team. We’re proud to be part of the Two Harbors community and grateful for the support, trust, and connections we’ve built here.

We’d also like to give a special shoutout to our Administrator, Jenny Kangas, who was recognized as a Top 3 Finalist for 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫. Jenny’s leadership, dedication, and heart for both residents and staff continue to make a meaningful impact every day, and we couldn’t be more proud.

Happy National Employee Appreciation Day. We celebrated today with a Baked potato Bar for staff, along with personalized cards to all the staff. Thank you Waterview Shores Employees for all you do, you all are "Spudtacular". Few more recognitions to come next week for some staff shout outs. Stay tuned. 😀

Today Waterview Shores had employees who braved the blizzard, and then helped out one another to get to work or get things done. Thank you Alysia for being the taxi to so many today at the nursing home and Grace for being the taxi tonight. Jackie for being our Assisted living taxi for staff in need. Paul and Christi who both walked blocks to get to work. Lenny, Sheri and Sarah for putting extra hours in the kitchen. Doug and Paul cleaning the snow. Jess, Jenny and Alysia helping to try and clean up the fire exits with Paul. And a huge thankyou to Nightwines Land Services LLC for taking over cleaning the fire exits when we were literally over our head in snow.
