Phoenix Behavioral Health Services employees Marissa Harfert, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and Hilary Forrest, Behavior Treatment Therapist in Portage and Wood Counties, recently presented at the Crisis Prevention Institute held in Portage County. They focused on discussing techniques and strategies to help de-escalate aggressive or agitated behaviors to reduce crisis situations. Collaboration between behavioral health providers, families, law enforcement, and community services is important to support individuals with autism and co-occurring conditions.

Brown County families who have children with autism, this event is for you! On Sunday, March 15, there will be a Lunch and Vendor Fair, followed by the opportunity to attend a Green Bay Blizzard Football game. Representatives from Phoenix Behavioral Health will be available at the Vendor Fair with information about our services.
