Tye Family Care, PLLC was established in 2013 by Nicole Celeste Votaw, RN, FNP-C. After being in the nursing profession for almost 20 years, Ms. Votaw identified a need in rural Tye, TX, and has taken great effort to meet the need for a general healthcare facility in the area. With a lot of prayer, many volunteers, and countless hours of planning and implementing, the office is almost ready. Please keep up with this page as updates for opening dates and times will be posted.

Our office will be closed for administrative purposes from 02/25/2026-03/02/2026. We will return to office on Tuesday March 3rd. We will be unavailable while we are gone, however, we have a colleague covering for us while we are out. If you are sick, or have a matter that cannot wait until next week, please call our friend Kelli Pritchard, FNP-C with The Lamp Family Health. Her phone number is 325-261-0150. She is kind, professional, and can come straight to you! We are thankful for Kelli's help and thrilled to support her small business!

Merkel ISD has made the decision to close, but our office has decided to open for a full day tomorrow. If you are on the schedule, you should have received a text message reminder this evening. We are willing to work with each patient according to their comfort level with driving. If you wish to reschedule, please reach out and we are happy to adjust your appointments. If not, we will see you bright and early in the morning!

Merkel ISD has made the decision to close for tomorrow 1/28/2026. After careful consideration, we have decided to attempt to reopen after lunch tomorrow. We understand the incredible inconvenience this has been to our patients. We also know the extreme danger the icy conditions pose, and do not want anyone on the roads unnecessarily. At the same time, we understand there are some things that cannot wait. If you have a need that cannot wait, please call us. We will be checking messages throughout the morning. If you do not want to attempt to come in, we will certainly reschedule.

Our office is closed until January 5th in observance of the New Year. We are blessed and thankful to have completed another year in practice with our incredible patients. We’ll see you all in 2026!

Our office will be closed from 11/21/2025-11/30/2025. We will reopen for regular business hours on Monday, December 1st. No staff members will be in office for phone calls during this time. We do have our after hours line in the event of urgent communication needs. To use this line, you will call our number and hit option 2. You will have to leave a message, but one of us will get back to you as soon as possible.
