This month’s theme is stress, and today’s tip comes from Selina!

Selina reminds us of something simple but powerful: progress over perfection.

“Oftentimes when we have a goal, we feel like we need to do it perfectly every day. But that pressure can lead to burnout and being overly hard on ourselves—sometimes even causing us to give up on the goal altogether.”

Instead, Selina encourages us to focus on taking small, manageable steps each day. Even the smallest step forward is still progress—and worth celebrating.

💡 Selina’s example:
If your goal is to declutter your home, trying to do everything in one day can feel overwhelming. Instead, set a timer for an hour and focus on one specific area, or choose one room for the day. Keeping tasks simple, realistic, and doable helps you feel accomplished rather than defeated.

This month, we’re talking about stress and the different ways it shows up in our lives. Not all stress is bad — eustress is positive stress that can motivate you, improve focus, and help you grow, like preparing for a job interview or learning a new skill. Distress, on the other hand, is overwhelming stress that can harm your mental, emotional, and physical health, like feeling overloaded at work or dealing with constant conflicts.

Recognizing the difference can help you manage stress effectively and turn challenges into opportunities for growth.
