Spinal stenosis occurs when the space within the spine narrows, leading to pressure on the spinal cord and nerves. Some people experience no symptoms, but others may have pain, tingling, numbness or muscle weakness. Symptoms vary based on which part of the spine is impacted. Lower back pain may occur with cramping in the legs while standing or walking, as well as trouble balancing. Neck pain may occur with numbness, tingling or weakness in the arm or hand. Over time, these symptoms can worsen. Spinal stenosis is most often caused by arthritis. Are you suffering from chronic pain in your back, leg, arm, or abdomen? Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) Therapy might be a solution for you. SCS is a procedure that involves the use of a small device that is implanted under the skin and sends electrical impulses to the spinal cord to control chronic pain. This innovative technology has been proven effective in reducing chronic pain from conditions like sciatica, spinal cord injury or disease, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Spinal cord stimulation can improve overall quality of life and sleep. Epidural Steroid Injections treat pain that radiates into different areas of your body from the spine. Pinched nerves in the cervical and lumbar spine can cause pain in the neck, shoulders, and arms. Herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or radiculopathy can compress nerves and cause inflammation and pain. A cervical or lumbar epidural steroid injection can be used to reduce this inflammation. To administer the medication, the physician inserts a needle into the space through which the spinal nerves travel. Contrast dye and/or fluoroscopic guidance are used to make sure that the needle is positioned correctly near the painful nerve(s). An anti-inflammatory medication is injected to relieve pressure and decrease swelling. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a regenerative treatment that utilizes platelets derived from a patient's own blood to facilitate the body's natural healing process and support joint health. During PRP treatment, a small amount of the patient's blood is drawn and processed to concentrate the platelets, which are responsible for initiating healing. These concentrated platelets are then injected back into the injured or affected area where they release growth factors to recruit and activate stem cells and aid in tissue regeneration and repair. By harnessing the power of the body's own healing cells and molecules, PRP therapy can help reduce pain and inflammation while improving function and mobility for a variety of orthopedic conditions. Contact Precision Spine Care today to learn more about this exciting treatment option- https://precisionspinecare.com/treatments/

Vertebral compression fractures are often caused by osteoporosis or trauma. They result in sudden back pain and loss of vertebral height and shape. Kyphoplasty aims to relieve pain by lifting and supporting the collapsed bone. During the procedure, a cement-like material is injected into the fractured area using small instruments. After it hardens, this stabilizes the bone and fracture. For those with osteoporotic compression fracture pain, kyphoplasty provides effective long-term relief. If you have back pain from a vertebral compression fracture, contact Precision Spine Care for a consultation.

We emphasize non-surgical treatment options first. What makes Precision Spine Care different from other spine centers is its nonsurgical approach to back and neck problems. For instance, many practices that are limited to spine surgeons are naturally biased toward the use of spine surgery. At Precision Spine Care, however, there are two physical medicine MDs who specialize in finding nonsurgical treatment options for many patients. Under one roof, we have the ability to perform X-rays, injection therapy, and EMGs. Because we provide all the necessary diagnostic testing and treatment in one place, we eliminate the need for multiple referrals, delayed care and overall confusion. https://bit.ly/3RO8iMp
