Symptoms may include neck and back pain when standing up straight, problems walking or balancing correctly, or shooting pain running up or down your legs. Spinal Cord Stimulation: A Potential Treatment Option for Chronic Pain Management. For individuals experiencing long-term chronic pain, Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) therapy may provide an effective means of pain relief. SCS involves the implantation of a small medical device, similar in size to a pacemaker, just under the skin. This device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord, interrupting pain signals before they reach the brain. By stimulating the spinal cord in this manner, SCS has been shown to significantly reduce pain sensations for conditions such as failed back surgery syndrome, and complex regional pain syndrome. Through blocking chronic pain signals, SCS therapy aims to improve patients' quality of life and function by lessening pain severity. To learn more about whether you could be a candidate for SCS therapy and how it works to manage long-term pain, please contact Precision Spine Care today. A consultation can help determine if SCS is right for your unique situation and medical history.

Our Story

Precision Spine Care combines the expertise of fellowship-trained spine surgeons, non-surgical spine MDs, interventional pain specialists, and physician assistants experienced in spine and on-the-job injury. The spine center assembles all these spine care specialists, along with X-ray, MRI diagnostics, an injection suite, and an ambulatory surgery center — all under one roof for the convenience of those with back and neck pain.

Precision Spine Care has five East Texas locations. Headquartered in Tyler, there are four satellite pain offices in Texarkana, Lufkin, Longview and Nacogdoches. Precision Spine Care is one of only two spine centers in Texas to be included in a national listing of spine centers of excellence by SpineCenterNetwork.com. To be included, a spine center must meet credentialing criteria that relates to having a multi-disciplinary team of non-surgeons, spine surgeons and spine therapists working together with an emphasis on non-surgical treatment options; minimally invasive spine surgery; patient education; and home remedies for back and neck pain.

As a community service, Precision Spine Care mails a free 36-page Home Remedy Book to residents of East Texas, and the surrounding areas. This booklet includes important information about back pain, understanding pain symptoms, and exercises you can do at home to alleviate pain and strengthen your back. Claim yours.
