What a joy it is having Joshua light up the office! 🌟

We recently completed making him a set of bilateral knee disarticulation prostheses. Our technical team absolutely nailed the dog-themed sockets — full of personality and fun to match his incredible energy! 🐶

We paired them with bilateral OttoBock 3R67 hydraulic knee joints for smooth, reliable control and Fillauer All Pro Pediatric carbon fiber feet to keep up with his active lifestyle. 🦿🦿

Joshua loves playing adaptive baseball and basketball, and he’s already pumped to round the bases in his new legs! ⚾🏀

We’re truly honored to help turn his dreams into reality and can’t wait to cheer on everything he accomplishes next. Keep shining, Joshua! 💪❤️

Meet Caleb from Fort Worth 🤠

Two years ago, a motorcycle accident took Caleb’s leg below the knee and nearly stole his hope.

Multiple prosthetic sockets from another provider left him in constant pain, dealing with bone pressure and discomfort that kept him on crutches, sidelined from the trails, the gym, and the active life he loved. He was starting to believe he’d never walk pain-free again. 😔

Then a family member told him about POA.

Caleb and his loved ones drove 3 hours to give us a chance.We listened closely, explained exactly why the previous designs weren’t working, and created something different: a custom suction socket with targeted pressure relief zones built right over his trouble spots.

Today? Caleb is pain-free for the first time in years! He’s back hiking those trails, crushing it at the gym, and excited to return to work.

🌟 Jordan’s chasing the gold with POA 🌟

Proud moment! Meet our incredible freshman wrestler Jordan who’s hitting the mat stronger than ever with his custom-designed wrestling prosthesis!

The team at POA recently crafted this high-performance wrestling prosthesis with tread tailored for the demands of the sport. This provides Jordan with the needed mobility and force to help him pin opponents and chase his goals.

From determination to domination: nothing stops this kid! 🤼‍♂️

We are excited to see what is next for him in his future in high school wrestling.

Brady, a long-time amputee, discovered POA through a patient’s recommendation. Seeking a new provider, he needed a prosthesis to match his active lifestyle. Using our Symphonie Aqua casting system, we crafted a custom mold of his residual limb.

Fitted with an Harmony P4 HD vacuum system, Brady enjoys reduced socket movement and consistent limb volume. Paired with a Echelon ER Hydraulic foot, he gets 25° of ankle motion, perfect for wearing his work boots, walking barefoot, or tackling inclines.

Brady says it’s the most comfortable prosthesis he’s ever worn and it feels like part of him!

🏌️‍♂️ What a fun July 4th weekend at the ABR fundraiser golf scramble in Bullard.
