We are thrilled to spotlight Tracy Lisner, the General Manager of Greenberg Smoked Turkeys, and a cherished member of the Mosaic Counseling Centers of East Texas board! Tracy is one of our founding board members, whose dedication and passion have been instrumental in our journey. After stepping away for a couple of years, we were excited to welcome him back to the board in 2024. His visionary leadership and commitment to mental health make him an invaluable asset to our community. We are grateful for his continued support and look forward to achieving new milestones together!

We're excited to have Monica Terpening joining the Mosaic team! Monica is a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish) who works with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges. She is EMDR trained and draws from Somatic Experiencing and the Gottman Method to support healing and connection, both individually and in relationships.

Monica especially enjoys working with survivors of trauma, Spanish-speaking clients, and couples seeking to improve communication and rebuild trust. Her approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and grounded in evidence-based practices.

Body, Mind, & Spirit - in Community

Samaritan Counseling Center of East Texas exists to deliver evidence-based counseling, education and research across East Texas. Our staff utilize an approach to therapy that focuses on the connection of body, mind and spirit. With nearly 20 licensed counselors, interns and students, we care for individuals, couples, and families from more than 35 East Texas counties. Our services include: psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMD-R, play therapy, Hakomi, and many others, with special focus on treatment of anxiety, depression, OCD, among other mental health challenges. We also offer faith-informed spiritual direction, marriage and relationship counseling, grief counseling, substance use and addiction counseling and much more. While we do accept some insurance plans, for those that qualify, our services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on household income. Looking for a class or group?
