Four letters.

Written slowly. Carefully. With a hand that not long ago could barely hold a pen.

Many of you have been following Eric’s journey with us. After surviving a massive stroke, he lost his speech and much of his strength. Week by week at Kourage Health, he has been rebuilding.

Last month, he picked up a pen and wrote one word to Sally:

LOVE.

A breakthrough. A victory. A reminder that healing is happening.

This is what love in action looks like. 💛

Because of our generous supporters, patients like Eric receive lifelong, medically supervised exercise at no cost. And moments like this become possible.

At this time, all Kourage Health centers will reopen tomorrow, with the exception of Plano. Our Plano center at Baylor Scott & White Health will remain closed.

No matter what the forecast brings, movement still matters. Even a few gentle stretches or light movement at home can help your body and your spirit on cold or stormy days.
