✅ Monday check-in: while most folks are heading back to work, we’re leaning into some work-related humor to ease the transition…

🧘🏻 The BES team is exploring yoga as a way to strengthen our minds, bodies, and focus—because safety professionals need more than just coffee to stay sharp.
A few perks yoga brings to the safety world:
   •   Improved focus and situational awareness
   •   Better posture and mobility to reduce the likelihood of MSDs
   •   Stress reduction (yes, even that kind of stress 😅)
   •   Breath control that helps with calm decision-making during high-pressure moments

😂 Of course, it wouldn’t be a BES moment without a little laughter. Today’s highlight: Nick confidently mixing up Tadasana with tinnitus. Not exactly the pose we were talking about, but we appreciate the enthusiasm.

👂🏼Good news though: if it is tinnitus, BES has you covered—we’re always happy to help with hearing conservation programs too.

🙆🏻‍♂️ Here’s to stretching into Monday with flexibility, focus, and just the right amount of humor.

🎉 Happy Slightly-Delayed New Year from Baughman Educational Services, LLC! 🎉

If our New Year’s greeting feels fashionably late, that’s because we were operating under our Critical Operations Only approach over the holidays. As safety professionals, we know that intentional pauses are just as important as high performance—creating space for personal and professional balance, strengthening team relationships, and yes… remembering that our team is also a husband-and-wife duo who occasionally needs a reset.

Even with limited operations, BES was never completely absent. We were proudly represented in Everglades National Park (among other places), sporting brand-new BES swag—proof that safety and adventure can, in fact, coexist. 🐊🌿

And if you’re thinking, “I’d like to be part of that team… or at least LOOK like part of it,” stay tuned. 👀

At Baughman Educational Services, we believe endurance and good decision-making go hand in hand—especially when safety is involved.

Yesterday tested both. Snow, slush, high winds, and bitter cold made for a long, challenging drive to our annual R&R reset.

As safety professionals, we practice what we teach. That meant adjusting and pivoting quickly, including making the call to delay our early morning Ohio departure until conditions were more favorable and daylight was available. It wasn’t the fastest choice—but it was the safest one. 🛣️✔️

This morning brought a welcome change: improved road conditions and a break in the weather, captured in this photo taken in North Carolina.

Today’s goals:
☀️ Enjoy the cool, mild weather
🚗 Track down a much-needed car wash

After a somewhat grueling drive, we’re looking forward to a well-earned reset—spending time in national parks across the southern U.S. and visiting family for the holidays. Rest, reflection, and recharging are all part of sustaining the work we do year-round.

Safe travels to everyone on the road—and remember, the right decision is always worth the wait.

🗓️From now until January 5, our team will be in limited-operation mode as we travel, recharge , and attempt to remember what day it is during the holiday season.🗓️

🍪☕️😜We’re still reachable when needed, but most of our energy will be focused on behind-the-scenes work—polishing curriculum, updating materials, and prepping even better training experiences for 2026. Think of it as us going into “winter workshop mode,” fueled by coffee, cookies, and good intentions.🍪☕️😜
