After wrapping up a week in the great state of North Carolina, the team is hitting the road and heading home to Ohio! 🚗💨

Somewhere along those long stretches of highway, we got curious — just how many states has provided service in (directly or indirectly)? You know… for funsies. 🤪
(It definitely beats the license plate game! 🥴)

And the grand total? 🥁 28 states!

👩‍🌾✨ National Women in Business Week Spotlight! ✨👩‍🌾

This week, we’re celebrating two inspiring young women forging their own paths in agriculture — Kiley and Taylor Hahn — sisters whose shared vision, work ethic, and love for what they do are setting the foundation for a bright future in ag. 🌾

🐐 Kiley Hahn, a freshman at the University of Findlay, is studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine with plans to continue at The Ohio State University and eventually return home as a community veterinarian. Alongside her sister, she co-manages TayRae Farm, which has grown from just two Boer goats to over 100 breeding does. Their herd has earned Top 10 finishes at the American Boer Goat Nationals and helps train future vet techs through a partnership with Kent State University.

🏅 Taylor Hahn, a junior at Ridgewood High School, balances academics, FFA, and varsity basketball while pursuing her dream of becoming a large animal veterinarian. She’s already earned national recognition — placing 9th at the 2023 ABGA/JABGA National Show and winning Grand Champion Senior Percentage Doe at the Ohio State Fair with her goat, Peaches.

Kiley and Taylor’s journey proves that passion and partnership can grow something extraordinary. From the barn to the show ring, these sisters are raising goats — and the standard for the next generation of women in agriculture. 💪🌱

Today we’re celebrating two strong, powerhouse women whose individual success is tied to something truly special — motherhood. 💪❤️ One - a devoted mother, driven by setting an example for her young children, and the other - a compassionate leader, further cultivating the legacy of her late mother.

🐾 Alyssa is a woman who truly has it all — a successful career as a Corporate Engineer at Nestlé Purina Petcare, where she supports Water and Wastewater Engineering and Compliance for 27 pet food factories across North America. With nine years of experience in various maintenance and engineering roles, she continues to embrace leadership opportunities in a male-dominated industry, viewing her work as a commitment to customer service and effective solutions.
On a more personal note, Alyssa is a loving mother to three young children — including two daughters destined to follow in her footsteps as powerhouse women in their own right. She also lends her expertise and heart to her family’s business, Frutchey Cattle Co., providing brand management and daily operations support.

🐶 Hayley, who serves as Director of Coshocton County Animal Shelter & Humane Animal Treatment Assoc., dutifully walks in the footsteps of her late, powerhouse mother, Chris, who dedicated 40+ years to the humane care of countless animals.
Hayley models her career after her mother’s selfless service, letting kindness, compassion, and unrelenting advocacy guide her every decision — values deeply instilled in her by her mother. Inspired by that example, Hayley continues to embody the sacrifices, strength, and heart that define true leadership and lasting legacy.

Both women, though humble, attribute much of their success to the unwavering support of their families and their village — a community of encouragers and volunteers who enable and empower them to thrive. Together, they represent the powerful balance of leadership, legacy, and a mother’s love. 💖

Today, through Sheridan Clay Safety, she continues to lead with strength and integrity, helping organizations stay safe, compliant, and empowered through exceptional safety training and consulting.

🍪 Katie, owner and operator of Katie Bakes, has turned her love for baking into a thriving business known for delicious, handmade treats that bring joy to every occasion. Beyond her bakery, Katie serves as President of Coshocton BPW (Business and Professional Women), where she leads a diverse group of women and men from all ages and industries, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and growth within the business community. Her creativity, attention to detail, and community spirit have earned her a loyal following and a sweet spot in the hearts (and taste buds!) of many.

Both Brenda and Katie exemplify the dedication, resilience, and heart it takes to build and sustain a successful business.
