Ukiah’s American Legion, Lewis White Post 76

Membership meeting are held the first Monday of every month, but because the the holiday in Sept it will be on the 9th.

Doors open at 1730 hrs (5:30) for set up. Potluck is at 1830 hrs (6:30), meeting follows at 1900 hrs (7:00).

Meetings and potluck is open to the public.

1. INTRODUCTION, why we should be prepared. Fire, Flood, Power, etc.

· Don’t rely upon others, including local government.
· Do you have a neighbor who needs help?

2. HOW TO PREPARE

· Have a “Go Bag” ready at all times.
· Essential items for 5 days, for yourself, home, office, car.
· Register your home and cell phone with your UPD or County SO

3. PETS

· Don’t forget your pets
· Shelter (crates), food, water

4. CONTACT INFO.

· Phone #, emails of friends and relatives.

· These are check in info to let them know your OK or have a need.
