On May 21, 2025, the Mendocino County Reentry Collaboration hosted the 2nd Annual Reentry Resource Fair in partnership with Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, Adventist Health, Department of Rehabilitation, Ukiah Parole, Mendocino County Social Services, and the Ford Street Project. Over 100 people joined us for a powerful day of connection, support, and second chances! The fair was filled with amazing community partners offering resources in housing, education, treatment and recovery, harm reduction, employment, child support, spiritual services, and more.

The event kicked off with inspiring opening remarks from Chief Probation Officer Izen Locatellil and Sheriff's Captain Greg Van Patten, followed by moving stories from individuals with lived experiences who shared their journeys from incarceration to rebuilding their lives. The day was filled with networking, community engagement, a delicious lunch donated by Ford Street Project, and even a raffle!

Big things are happening at Ford Street Project!

Right here in Ukiah, we're expanding to serve more people on their path to recovery—because healing starts with a place to call home. Thanks to our partnership with Northern Circle Indian Housing Authority, a sober living dorm is rising to provide vital support for those in need.

More beds. More support. More second chances.

Did you know that you can save a life in just five minutes? 💙

Join us for a Naloxone Distribution Event at the Lowery Center on Jan 30th from 12-2pm and learn how to prevent opioid overdose deaths.

Naloxone is a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and restore breathing. It is safe, easy to use, and can be a lifesaver.

All you need to do is have a five minute conversation with us and we will give you a Narcan Rescue Kit for free. The kit contains naloxone nasal spray and instructions on how to use it.

We will also teach you the three steps of the overdose response process:

Recognize the signs of an overdose, such as slow or no breathing, blue lips or nails, or unresponsiveness. Administer the medication by spraying it into one nostril of the person who overdosed. Place the person in the recovery position, which is lying on their side with their top leg and arm crossed over their body. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn a valuable skill and save a life. We hope to see you at the event! 😊
